NO ART WITHOUT ARTISTS – this simple sounding manifest is basic principle at VANDIT. Established in Berlin in 1999, the label quickly captured attention not just within the capital city borders but worldwide. With a huge impact on the scene, it grew to one of the most important international labels with huge loyal fan base, label parties and own radio show.
VANDIT Records is an international, independent record label with its artists and their musical visions in the spotlight.
We sign artists directly to the label. Our global representation and network with international partners allows us to offer a full-service platform, including physical release production through carefully selected licensing partners, booking and management, as well as publishing. 2008 saw the launch of the sub-label VANDIT Digital. It allows a much broader sound and gives new names and talents a chance to capture the world. The digital exclusive releases allow a fast and direct distribution of high quality music.
In 2010, two of the most prestigious labels in dance music — Paul van Dyk’s legendary VANDIT imprint and Dutch record company Armada Music — announced a new joint venture. With a burgeoning release schedule for 2010 and 2011 already in place, the Berlin‐based VANDIT team will remain responsible for the label’s A&R and artist development as both entities prepare to take the imprint into the next decade.
